Breakfast Service

Breakfast is an important part of our Guest’s stay at our Newport, Rhode Island Inn. Included in your rate, Breakfast at the Marshall Slocum Inn is sure to leave an indelible impression on your stay. Chef Mark Spring and staff aim to create a warm environment combined with top notch service and sumptuous food. Educated at Johnson & Wales University and trained at the AAA rated five star Cliffside Inn, Chef Spring presents an innovative menu for guests to choose from daily.

    For breakfast service, our guests have the option of dining on the large back deck overlooking the gardens, inside the sun filled Dining Room, or in their guest room for a true breakfast in bed experience.

    Breakfast begins at 7:30 am with freshly brewed coffee and a selection of juices set out on the side bar in our beautifully appointed Dining Room. At 8:00 am, the dining room opens and guests are presented with a starter of seasonal fresh fruit and freshly baked muffins and breads on the buffet. After settling in at their table, guest’s select a main entrée from our ever changing daily menu.

Besides Our healthy menu, two of our favorite breakfasts are;

  • Healthy Pepper Hash and Poached Eggs

  • Omelet of the Day
