Canfield House
This New York-style bar & grille is a favorite spot of locals and
tourists alike. Rediscover romance and elegant dining in a Victorian
Asterix Danish chef John Bach-Sorensen makes fine dining as fun and colorful as the madcap French cartoon strip after which this eatery was named. In what used to be an auto repair shop, the garage doors can be opened or closed depending on the weather. Asian twists enliven Mediterranean fare with strong French influences. The Black Pearl Tourists and yachters flock to this dignified converted dock shanty, where award-winning clam chowder is sold by the quart. Dining is in the casual tavern of the formal Commodore's Room. The French and American entrees include duck breast with green peppercorn sauce and swordfish with Dutch pepper butter.
