Welcome to our Newport Rhode Island Bed and Breakfast located in the beautiful CIty by the Sea. This year will be our 32nd season operating as a Newport, Rhode Island Inn as well as the 157th birthday of this Historic 1855 Colonial. We are also proud to announce that Yankee Magazine has named the Inn a "Best of New England - Editors' Choice" 2011 Best Rhode Island Bed and Breakfast in their May 2011 Travel Guide to New England. Our Newport bed and breakfast, the Marshall Slocum Inn, has been meticulously preserved to reflect the charm and beauty of its Colonial heritage, while offering guest's accommodations with today's comforts and service with a personalzed touch. The extensive grounds at the Inn, featuring a large back deck overlooking manicured gardens and a relaxing front porch, offer the Inn’s guest a quiet recluse to relax at after a day of touring the Newport Mansions, harbor, shops, restaurants and beaches that are only steps away from the Inn.
